During a holiday in Austria, you should definitely visit the charming city of Salzburg – famous for its festival. The Hohensalzburg fortress, the Mirabell Castle, Mozart’s Birthplace, the cathedral or the famous Getreidegasse alley inspire everyone.

Both attractions, both the largest ice cave in the world and the exciting Hohenwerfen adventure castle are found in Werfen. While the cave impresses with bizarre ice sculptures, you can enjoy unique birds of prey exhibitions at the 900-year-old fortress.

The Kitzsteinhorn mountain is one of the loveliest attractions in the region of Salzburg year-round. It inspires its visitors not only as a ski and hiking area. With the Gipfelwelt 2000 ski lift, you'll rise to 3209 metres to enjoy unbelievable panoramic views from the viewing platform of the three thousand metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park. 

Get to know the nearly 200 Alpine animals up close and personal! Bears, wolves, ibex, chamois and marmots await you at the 15 ha wildlife park Wildpark Ferleiten. The circuit through the park takes about 1 hour and is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Nestled amidst the natural landscape of the Hohe Tauern mountains, there are the reservoir lakes Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden at an elevation of about 2000 metres. These high mountain reservoirs are accessible by bus and the Lärchwand slant lift. We recommend a dam tour where you will learn a lot about the internal life of the 107 m high dam.
